Your new home is now ready for roof cover.

Once your selected roof cover is fitted this will provide enough protection from the weather to allow tradesman to commence work inside your house.

Most Frequently Asked Questions at ROOF COVER stage

  1. My house has completed Roof stage, what happens next?
    • The internal walls will have a grey ‘float’ (sand and cement mix) applied
    • The ceilings will be installed
  2. What are the grey and copper pipes in the roof space and pipes in the walls?
    • These are the pipes that carry the water and gas supply to your home
  3. My Roof Tiles are not all cemented in?
    • That’s ok, as the Roof Tile Company often returns to complete the cement pointing at a later stage. Roof Cover Completed stage refers to your premises being watertight. Pointing is not a requirement at this stage and will be completed prior to your final inspection.
  4. They plastered over my light switch or power point?
    • The Electrician consults the electrical working drawings of your new homes to complete all the electrical points.
