The next stage to be completed is your PCI (Practical Completion Inspection)
Before we can arrange an on site practical completion meeting the following items will need to be completed:
- Concrete hardstand to your carport/garage
- Paving (if included in your contract)
- Floor coverings and window treatments (if included in your contract)
- Final Site Clean (at this stage the builder will level 1500mm around your home and remove any builders rubble on site)
- Painting
Once the above items are completed you will be contacted to arrange a suitable time to meet with your Site Supervisor.
You will be given the opportunity to discuss items requiring attention and will need to sign an agreed list with your Site Supervisor.
These items will be addressed and rectified prior to key handover.
Fencing & Landscaping
Please be advised that the builder is not responsible for
- Levelling and re-pegging your site for fencing and landscaping. (These works need to be scheduled after key handover.)
For more information in regards to fencing and landscaping allowances please contact your developer and/or land agent.
At PCI stage you will also receive your final account statement and you will be required to provide a copy of your house insurance policy to your lending institution.
Your final account balance will need to be paid in full prior to booking your key handover meeting.
