Please use this date to forecast your PRACTICAL COMPLETION DATE as per the frequently asked questions listed below.

Your house will be locked up under a construction key for security until it is ready for key handover. Your house is now starting to look like a home!

Most Frequently Asked Questions at HOUSE LOCKUP stage

  1. My house has been locked up, what happens next?
    • Your fixing carpenter will install the shelving and the internal doors
    • Your cabinetry will be installed
    • Your home will have the basins, bath and trough installed
    • Your painter will apply an undercoat to the ceilings and external painted areas
    • Your internal floor and wall tiling will be installed
  2. When is my house going to be finished?
    • Your contract allows 12 – 18 months from the start of construction however it is within all our interests to be completed as soon as possible. From Lock Up stage to handover on average we would estimate anywhere from 10 – 12 weeks.
  3. Is the front rail of my shelving going to be painted?
    • Yes, your painter will paint the front batten only prior to handover.
  4. When do my flyscreens get installed?
    • Your flyscreens will be one of the last items to be fitted prior to handover.
